The mystery has been revealed. Seriously. You have to understand that if you cannot see the remote screen or the remote computer, then you’re just taking shots in the dark. That’s really what you’re doing and these guesses, believe it or not, will eventually get the better of you.

This is especially true if you are working with VNC in such a way where the screens load very slowly. In fact, it’s anybody’s guess what the ISP of the remote person will be like the moment you get on VNC with them. You’d be lucky if everything is smooth and if it seems like you’re working on your own computer, you get the information, they learn what they need to learn or they figure out what to do, and everybody walks away happy.

This can take several minutes but everybody is better off because everybody now knows what to do. Everybody also knows what to expect from each other. Unfortunately, such interactions on VNC are not always that smooth. In many cases, their ISP, for whatever reasons, starts to freeze or you may be having connection problems of your own. The end result is very scary because you end up going through the same steps over and over again.

To make matters worse, if you are unable to remotely control their video, you might have to repeat certain operations over and over again because you can’t get the right view. You have to do this over and over until you get it done. This is a hassle when it comes to one item. Can you imagine having to go through several operation items in the exact same way?

Instead, you need to use an application like Tridiavnc to layer on top of VNC to truly speed it up. This way, there are no nasty surprises in the end. This way, you can communicate quickly, effectively and get things done right the first time around.

Make no mistake about it. Remote collaboration is an issue to many people because it requires people going over the same process several times. Nobody’s at fault here because hey, you can’t predict how fast the other person’s computer would be. You definitely cannot predict how well their ISP would be performing at that particular point in time. What we can predict and what we have maximum control over are the tools we have.

So, insist on using remote video control so you can make things easier on yourself. Make this system work for you instead of having a system produce all sorts of problems that eventually, at some level or other, get the better of you. Consider yourself warned.
