This Promotion is accepted worldwide. You must be at least 18 years or older, or the legal age of majority in his/her residence, to enter. This Promotion is void where prohibited. Employees and vendors of Tridia Corporation and their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees and vendors are not eligible. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Tridia Corporation, which are final and binding in all respects.
Promotional period begins May 23, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), and ends on November 19, 2001 at 11:59 p.m. ET ("Promotional Period"). At the end of the first 60 days, there will be a random drawing to select five (5) winners of a Palm Pilot m505 Handheld. At the end of the first 120 days, there will be a random drawing to select three (3) winners of a Panasonic DVD-LV55 portable CD player. At the end of 180 days, there will be a random drawing to select one (1) grand prize winner of a Sony VAIO FX170K notebook.
Follow the link provided in the promotional email to the official contest entry page and complete the sign-up form by filling out your email address and the valid email address of two (2) others.
You may also enter by sending us a postcard or letter with your name, address, and email address along with the email addresses of two of your friends that may benefit from TridiaVNC. Eligibility of each entry depends on the completeness of the submission and validity of email addresses given. Multiple entries are accepted per person, however, along with the entrant's valid email address, each entry must contain two valid and unique email addresses. You may enter as many times as you'd like, but only one entry per contestant will be entered in the drawing.
No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. All entries become the property of Tridia Corporation and will not be returned.

Tridia reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Taxes are the responsibility of the winners. Non U.S. residents may be subject to U.S. withholding tax.
Odds of being selected for one of the prizes listed above depend on the total number of valid entries.
5. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION AND
NOTIFICATION
Winners will be selected in a series of random drawings
from all eligible entries received according to the following schedule:
- 60 days -- five (5) winners of a Palm™ Pilot m505 Handheld.
- 120 days -- three (3) winners of a Panasonic DVD-LV55 portable CD player.
- 180 days --one (1) grand prize winner of a Sony VAIO FX170K notebook.
Limit one prize per
family/household.
Winners will be notified via email, or U.S. mail,
depending on their method of entry in the contest. If a selected winner does
not respond within thirty (30) days from the first notification attempt, then
such person is disqualified and forfeits his/her prize. Allow 120 days for
delivery of prize.
Winners are required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where legally permissible, a Publicity Release ("Affidavit/Release"). Affidavit/Release must be signed and returned within the date indicated on the documents. Failure to execute documents or if winner is found to be ineligible, or does not comply with the Official Rules, he/she will be disqualified. This Promotion is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. If Affidavit/Release is returned as "undeliverable", prize will be forfeited. All federal, state or other tax liabilities arising from this Promotion will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner. In addition, winner agrees to provide a statement of use telling Tridia how he/she uses TridiaVNC. Except where prohibited by law, the winner's entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Tridia to use said winner's name, photograph, likeness, statement, statement of use, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation.
This Promotion is subject to these Official Rules. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Tridia Corporation and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Promotion or these Official Rules. Winners and entrants agree that Tridia Corporation shall not be responsible or liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from participating in this Promotion including, but not limited to, the acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of any prize and/or any injury or damage to entrant's or third person's property related to or resulting from any prize or any part of this Promotion. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Promotion will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. All taxes, assessments, fees and costs arising out of, or resulting from, acceptance or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Tridia Corporation is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incorrectly addressed, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable, destroyed, entries resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures or faulty transmissions or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, or entry not received by Tridia Corporation on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or at a Website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from submitting an entry or downloading any material for the Promotion or other telecommunications malfunctions which may limit an entrant's ability to participate. Tridia Corporation may prohibit you from participating in the Promotion or winning a prize, if in their sole discretion they determine you are attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other players or Tridia Corporation representatives. If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of Tridia Corporation which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, Tridia Corporation reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
