When you use Terminal server or WIN2000 server you don't need Metaframe
    to connect with different OS.

You can run the RDP client local (NT box) and start a vnc server for each
    client.
For linux, run the RDP client with wine.

You can also change the logon (msgina) on your nt box to start a vncserver
for each RDP client before you logon and use rshd to start remote the
    RDP client.

When you won't use the multi-user version of NT you can try multiple
vncservers on the same nt box.
I did some tests using the vncserver for one windows application.
You can display 4 applications on the same desktop
    |-------|
    | 1 | 2 |
    |-------|
    | 3 | 4 |
    |-------|
and use a different vncserver for each application.
Problem: The mouse and keyboard focus can only be on 1 window

    Rudi
